At Shadida, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when using our platform.

Data We Collect

Account data (your email and display name via our auth provider Clerk — we never store your password), the content you upload (video/audio or links and their outputs), usage data (jobs, tokens, service type), and limited technical logs (IP/browser) for security.

How We Use It

To provide the service (transcription/translation/burning), manage your account and tokens, improve quality, and ensure security. We never sell your data to third parties.

Sub-processors & Payments

We use Clerk (auth), Cloudflare (hosting, storage, protection), Neon (database), and OpenAI (automated transcription/translation). Payments are processed by Whop as the Merchant of Record — they collect your card data; we never see or store it.

Data Retention & Deletion (GDPR)

Your files and outputs are auto-deleted after your plan’s retention window (Free: 2 days, Pro: 7 days, Business: 15 days), and the original upload is deleted after processing. You may request deletion of your account and all data at any time; we action it within 30 days.

Your Rights & Security

You may access, correct, delete, and export your data; EU/UK users have full GDPR rights. We protect data with encrypted transport (HTTPS/HSTS), Cloudflare protection, and restricted server access.

Governing Law

Shadida is operated by an individual, and this policy is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The service is not directed to anyone under 16.
